In 2003 it was Sifu Ben Bosboom who inspired Sifu Benno Wai (long time friends) to open his first UCT Academy in Amsterdam Noord. Together they started teaching in an off spring Wing Chun system of the Wing Tsun Leung Ting lineage. After a five year journey in different Wing Chun systems they ‘landed’ in the Practical Wing Chun lineage of GM Wan Kam Leung. Right before this switch Sifu Bosboom moved to Spain en opened a UCT Academy in Marbella. After teaching there many years he moved his Academy closer to his hom in Alhaurin where till today teaches Wing Chun and Nei Gong.
Sifu Benno Wai visits him several times a year to train and share his knowledge with the UCT Spain members.
