BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU KIDS

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Kids

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a beautiful sport where functionality and fun go hand in hand. There are clear similarities with the well-known Judo, but where Judo is mainly about flooring the opponent, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is more about the ground. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Kids is suitable for boys and girls aged 6 years and older. UCT International has developed a special program (Team Dragon Kids) especially for our kids from 6 to 15 years of age. When the kids pass the age of 15 we advise them to join our adult classes.

SUBMISSION GRAPPLING

Submission Grappling UCT

Submission grappling (also known as submission fighting, submission grappling, sport grappling, or simply as No-Gi) or Combat wrestling (in Japan), is a formula of competition and a general term for martial arts and combat sports that focus on clinch and ground fighting with the aim of obtaining a submission using submission holds. The term ‘submission wrestling’ usually refers only to the form of competition and training that does not use a ‘jacket’, ‘gi,’ or ‘combat kimono’, often worn with belts that establish rank by color.
